one job

today, *thinks* great! I dunno what date today is.. not even the day! This usually happens to someone who works in a call center where US time is assumed. Why? Because the people we're providing service to are from the United States. So we always have a connotation of "time in real life" which is the local time here in the Philippines, and "time in the unreal life" which is either central or pacific etc. Well anyway, back to the topic. The original contract that I had with this company is a temporary one which is just for one month coz its Valentines. today, we were told that we've been absrobed by the company meaning we will be signing another set of contract that will assure us to have jobs in the next six months which is really great. The only thing I'm sad about is the fact that the person whom I was expecting to be retained more than anyone else wasn't absorbed. The reality really bites. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to be absorbed coz I incurred an absense and I know I've done not-good-enough work with some calls.. I kept telling before that Im hoping, but definitely not expecting.
