Kyuketsuki (vampire)

From Anne Rice's character Lestat de Lioncourt to the most recent Edward Cullen, how can we say that Vampires are not as popular as Britney Spears? Been a vampire fan since middle school. I used to imagine or fantasize a vampire visiting me at night, offering me to be like himself. I even used Vampires as topic to an English essay. hehe ^_^ Anyway, when I heard three girls giggling so much about the movie Twilight I told myself "What the heck?! This is the first time you heard about vampire-human love story? C'mon!!! Its been there in books ages ago!" Yep! I was mad about the fact that vampire-human love story wouldn't be noticed if the Twilight book by Stephenie Meyer wasn't turn into a movie. If you'll ask me, I'm a bit disappointed with the movie. Well, what would you expect? That always happen. Books are always better than movie adaptations.
I've read all four Twilight series, online books that is. And yes I confess, I really like it. Why? Maybe because I've been wanting to have a vampire lover hehehe ^_^ and reading those books seems to fill some part of that desire. But if you will ask me who my favorite character is.. I'll say its Jacob Black. Yep! I know.. he's not a vampire. He is a werewolf. I guess I love his character. Jacob being a "happy person" extending that happiness to the people around him. He is cheery, passionate, and adventrous. And he loves Bella even if he knows she's inlove with Edward. That cold thing! Kidding! haha I like Edward to. He is really ODD.
I've been collecting vampire novels since college, most are paperbacks. And until now, I'm dropping by bookstores from time to time looking for stories I could my spend day reading.. with a smile. ^_^
